Nkosinathi Mcetywa is the Project Lead for Public Relations and Communications at the Civic Tech Innovation Network (CTIN). He is also the podcast host of the Civic Tech in Africa Podcast with Nathi Mcetywa. He has a background in Business Administration and Urban and Regional Planning. While studying for his Uban and Regional Planning qualification, Nkosinathi took a lot of interest in issues surrounding urban governance and the ability of the State to be transparent and accountable to its constituents. His most prominent roles have been in the education space as part of the Student Equity and Talent Management Unit at Wits University as well as the Civic Tech Innovation Network (CTIN) at the Wits School of Governance. Nkosinathi’s role as Project Lead for Public Relations and Communications at CTIN puts him at the forefront of the amplification an documentation of interesting innovative stories and projects from the continent.
