Melissa Chasi is the Project Director for Africa at Embed Global, where she leads initiatives to drive digital transformation for African businesses. Her work centers on optimizing the digital purchase journey and addressing the global protection gap through cutting-edge technology solutions.Melissa holds an LLB in Law and Business from the University of Sussex, with a year abroad at Bocconi University. She further pursued an MSc in Entrepreneurship with a Technology pathway at University College London. Her current research focuses on digital banking and privacy. She is also certified in Data Protection by POTRAZ and the Harare Institute of Technology.In her role as a Board Member for Advocacy and Research at the Privacy Professionals Association of Zimbabwe, Melissa is dedicated to enhancing digital literacy, empowering citizens with a clear understanding of their data rights, and advising corporations on the significance of comprehensive security measures.Beyond her professional commitments, Melissa is the founder of The Supper Club by Chef Soko, where she designs Middle Eastern culinary experiences to foster community connections and cultural exchange. This passion project underscores her commitment to community engagement and cultural education.
