Farisai Chaniwa is the Director of Media Monitors, a specialist media research and trends analysis institution. She has led various studies and inquiries into how the media in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa has covered topical issues such as elections, gender and digital information disorders. She recently did research on media sustainability in Southern Africa, which includes digital innovation and alternative media funding as the future of the media. Chaniwa is also an expert in Information Technologies and digital security.
