Dingo Duke

Dingo Duke (born Munyaradzi Winston Dzwekesu, July 4, 1995) is an award-winning MC, singer & songwriter from Harare, Zimbabwe. He started composing at an early age and got his moniker” Dingo” from an older brother who has the same name who introduced him to Hip-Hop music of D.M.X, Dr.Dre, Nas, and the Wu-Tang Clan. Besides Hip-Hop, the rapper also found inspiration from golden age Afrobeats, 90’s kwaito, and Urban Grooves.

Dingo Duke’s music is mostly storytelling and protestant, and it mostly touches on the issues affecting the townships and also the world surrounding. To date, he has released 3 projects namely “Imaginary Audience EP” which was released online in 2017, “The Tavern Hotel” album which was released in 2022, and “From Shebeenia, With Love” (2023) a collaborative album he did with fellow rapper, Dough Major. The rapper is also a key player in the Shebeen Rap scene which also includes artists like Ndonzi Beatx, Dough Major, Case Btz, Honey Uchi, and Tatenda LXA to name a few.

Dingo Duke has performed at quite several festivals including Shoko, Jibilika, Amplifaya, and many concerts.
