Xabiso Vili is a multi-award winning performer, writer, new media artist, producer, digital strategist and social activist. He is the 2022 World Poetry Slam Champion, a Mail & Guardian top 200 Young South African, Future Africa Grant recipient and the inaugural winner of the Fakugesi Digital Creativity Award for the best AR project in Africa.
His debut album, “Eating My Skin”, was released in 2016, followed by his one-man show “Black Boi Be”. He released first poetry collection “Laughing In My Father’s Voice”, in 2018 and also co-authored a Young Adult novella, “The Deep State Interchange” (2021).
